Q: How often do I need to get my equipment inspected?
A: Due to the warm local climate causing long runtime on equipment, we recommend to get your equipment thoroughly inspected once a year, especially before the Summer months. This inspection may be requested any time of the year. For more information look into our Comfort Club for details.
Q: What does a service call fee include?
A: This fee includes the inspection of your equipment to diagnose the problem. The technician will then explain what was found and the repair recommendations along with the cost. Whether the repair is approved or not, you will receive a detailed invoice explaining our recommendations and an estimate if requested.
Q: What else should I consider about my air conditioning?
A: Indoor air quality and energy efficiency are key to human comfort and savings. We offer a variety of IAQ (indoor air quality) products to add to your existing unit. Energy efficiency may be achieved by having properly installed equipment along with proper refrigerant amount and proper duct design.
Q: How often do I replace my filter?
A: Every home or building is different depending on several variables. Our common recommendation is to replace no later than once a month and use a pleated type filter.
Q: What should I do when I call if my air conditioner is not working?
A: We recommend you turn off the air conditioner at the thermostat when it is not cooling. If it is working while you wait on a technician, the unit may be hurting itself and wasting energy. Depending on the scenario, it could also delay the diagnostic and/or repair.
